Well, that didn’t pan out like I planned, but today I had a chance to work on it. I am planning on using it in my son’s yet to be finished bedroom as a desk chair. I did have the chance last week to prime it and then paint it in a color that everyone in the house agreed was awful. I wanted to go with a kelly green to be cool and risky and I had been pinning the color on Pinterest but that too did not pan out as I planned. Back to the drawing board. Oh, wait black my go to color. It’s my this will ground the space color. It’s my I always have black paint in the house(except for today) color and if I get into one of my changeable moods (and it does occur quite often) the chair can find a new home in a different room in my home. So what does it look like? Ta-da!I used a black and white ticking to recover the needle point seat. The chair reminds me of Regency style I love the circle on the back and the curves of the chair. I’m still astonished that it was left on the side of the road. Their trash is my treasure now.I’ll be linking up to Miss Mustard Seed’s Furniture Feature Friday.
