Fall Front Door

Well, it arrives tomorrow at 10:49 am here on in the east. I’m all ready to welcome autumn to my house with my fall front door.  I went to see the local farmer this morning to gather more pumpkins. They have such a variety and the mums are huge. Every year I have the same problem…which color to choose from the gorgeous selection. This year, I went with this pretty purple and yellow. I gathered some items I had around the house so I could welcome fall to my front door. I’ve had this homemade chicken feeder for years so I thought I would  it get it out so it could have a turn on my porch this year.  I made the wreath yesterday in a panic, I didn’t want to be late to welcome the first day of autumn! The wreath is really two that I had, I tied them together and then just added some burlap ribbon to give it some spice and because I had it in the house (it must be burlap week around here). I was given the stamp of approval from my daughter when she ripped the another one down to put this one up. I hope autumn smiles upon my door when she arrives tomorrow morning. Happy fall everyone.

  1. Your pumpkins are so unique. Love green pumpkins.

  2. I love those green squash type pumpkins and bought them for the first time this year, but I think I bought them too soon because I already had to throw them in the woods. Looks so pretty and welcoming!
